This is the BLENIN color guide for men. It shows how to put colors together the old money way.
Each short video shows two pairs. The first pair does not work. The second one does. Watch a few and you will see the pattern.
Start with neutrals. Navy, cream, camel and gray are the old money base. They go with each other and with almost anything. Add one deeper color, like burgundy, olive, rust or chocolate. Keep everything else calm. Good fabrics help too: wool, cashmere and linen make simple colors look rich.
Three simple rules:
- Navy looks best with camel or cream, not with black.
- Gray works with burgundy or brown.
- Cream needs contrast: navy or chocolate.
