This is the BLENIN color guide for women. It shows how to put colors together the old money way.
Each short video shows two pairs. The first pair does not work. The second one does. Watch a few and you will see the pattern.
Start with neutrals. Navy, cream, camel and gray are the old money base. They go with each other and with almost anything. Then add one soft or deep color, like sage, burgundy or brown. Keep the rest quiet. Good fabrics help too: cashmere, wool and silk make simple colors look rich.
Three simple rules:
- Camel looks best with cream, not with black.
- Navy looks sharp with ivory or white.
- Burgundy works with gray, not with red.
